They’re up on the wall and Salts Cure is up and running. We went over the weekend for brunch and it was delish. Fav was the smoked albacore appetizer.

Salt’s Cure Wall Photography
I was recently commissioned to come up with an idea for the wall art for Salt’s Cure, a butcher shop/restaurant set to open sometime next month. Had a lot of fun with this. Took a little trial and error finding the right size grains of salt and making the stencils so they would impress a clean imprint. I decided to go with the 3 animals they cure the most. These shots will each be blown up and hung across the main wall.
Pleasanton Antique Car Show
I have no clue about the names of these cars or their years but they’re all real and totally worth the $17 price of admission.
the VLA at Spaceland
I’ve been listening to the VLA for eight years now. I’m somewhat obligated seeing as I’m married to it but nevertheless, it was love at first sight and still is. Last night they rocked it. Spaceland didn’t f* up the sound either so that made me super happy. Ravi and I went to see Death Cab for Cutie the other day at the Hollywood Bowl. Since they’re sort of in the same vein I couldn’t help but compare them and, well, these guys are better. Jason’s voice is hotter and their songs are better. Fo sho. Listen here. (took the pics with a Nikon D40. great in low-light)
